Reflections

 All entries must be submitted online.
If your project is a physical creation (such as artwork, photography, or writing on paper), please scan or photograph it clearly before uploading. Digital projects (like film, music, or typed literature) may be uploaded as-is.

Students need three things to submit an entry:

1. The official PTA Reflections entry form

2. PRMS PTA Google submission form

3. The completed reflections entry

All entries must be submitted online. The submission deadline is Monday, October 20.

Student Entry Tips:

PTA Reflections is a chance for you to show your creativity! Enter your original piece of art. Judges will score all the entries received based on interpretation of the theme, creativity, and technique.

* Brainstorm about the theme: "What My Culture Means to Me"

* Choose a category

* Create a piece of art

* Write an artist statement (very important!)

* Required for participation in Reflections: Make sure you are, or a family member is, a Pearson Ranch Middle School PTA Member (Join PRMS PTA here!)

* Submit your entry online!

* You may submit more than one entry in any category or multiple categories; however, each entry will require its own official PTA Reflections entry form and must be submitted through the PRMS PTA Google submission form by the deadline.

* The top 20% of entries received in each category advance to PTA council level for judging.

Program Overview:

Sponsored by National PTA, the Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts. Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
